Your Personal Data – what we need
Safe Apps Ltd is what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special categories of information or location-based information. This does, however, include name, address, email address, company name, job title and telephone number where you have provided it. Occasionally we may request further information in market surveys that you are not obliged to provide.
We collect your contact information from you when you make an enquiry with us online or in person. We do not source any personal data from third-party vendors but will occasionally research contacts through publicly available sources such as LinkedIn.
Why we need it
We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with the response to your enquiries and to provide you with email updates and marketing communications about our products and services.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail.
We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide these services to you.
What we do with it
The legal basis we rely on to process your personal data is that of Legitimate Interest. This is because:

- It is very simple for you to opt-out of processing and communications.
All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK and held on servers managed by Hubspot. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We only use external IT services to support this processing which are either located within the European Union or have suitable security measures in place and comply with the EU Commission approved standard contractual clauses.
We only share your data with our licensed resellers if they are better placed to respond to your needs, such as due to geographic location. No other third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
How long we keep it
Your information that we use for marketing purposes may be kept by us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information by selecting the “unsubscribe” option on any of our mailings or if you have not engaged with us (by opening emails or responding to emails or calls) for a period of two years.
